Behold the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and He shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. In His days Judah will be saved and Israel will dwell securely.
And this is the name by which He shall be called: 'the LORD our righteousness." (Jer 23:5-6)

Welcome & Shalom!
Have you ever wondered what the following have in common: the lampstand (menorah) in the holy place, Aaron's rod and Jeremiah's vision? [click for verses] Each of these is associated with the branch of an almond tree! Two are specifically associated with budding and blossoming almond branches. Did you know that the almond tree is known as the earliest of the fruit trees to “awaken” or "resurrect" at the dawn of a new cycle? Interestingly, the Hebrew word for almond tree is associated with being alert, sleepless, on the lookout. In other words, the Hebrew word for almond tree is associated with being watchful. How appropriate that the Creator patterned our eyes after this prophetic tree's much sought after seed!
What is the significance of our Creator choosing a branch from an almond tree - the watchful tree - to represent these things? Why not branches of other trees? Why not a peach branch? Why not an olive branch? Why not a fig or pomegranate or apple branch? Why not a lemon branch? Why not a branch from a tree that doesn’t produce any fruit/food at all? Why not a grapevine? There is a reason for our Heavenly Father’s design. He communicates to His children spiritual concepts through physical things. This is known as “speaking in parables.” So what parable is our Heavenly Father communicating to us through the branch of an almond tree?

…these describe the cycle of the almond tree. These describe the Annointed One, the Christ, the Messiah. The Lamp in the heavenly and the Light of the World. The One who watched over His Father's Word to protect it from traditions, doctrines and lies of man. The High Priest in the order of Melchizedek. The Firstfruit of the resurrection. The One who was stricken, beaten and crushed for our iniquities. The One who contained the sweet, single, edible Seed. The Word of יהוה (translated as the LORD). The prophesied Righteous Branch who would raise up and reign as King, establish a government and uphold it with righteousness and justice.
The parable of the almond tree seems to serve as a living and faithful witness to the message that is proclaimed throughout the torah and the prophets:
When the Righteous Branch returns, He will establish a kingdom or government on the earth and uphold it with His Father's principles of righteousness and justice. He will raise up branches or trees of righteousness to rule and reign with Him, to help Him bring forth His Father's right and just laws, decrees, statutes and ordinances - known as light - to the ends of the earth.
Are these branches remaining watchful and alert? As in the parable of the lampstand, are these branches united to the Servant Branch... a budding and blossoming almond branch... the Righteous Branch? Are they producing the same fruit as the Righteous Branch? Are they producing the fruit of light?
May the information presented throughout this site awaken His branches to return to the perpetual (ancient) path, which is known as "the way" of יהוה ... and may His branches walk in the way of יהוה. May His branches clothe themselves in garments of righteousness. May they be considered:
