Gospel of the Kingdom of God
Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king
and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.
In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely.
And this is the name by which he will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. (Jer 23:5-6)
and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.
In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely.
And this is the name by which he will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. (Jer 23:5-6)
but He said to them, "I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well;
for I was sent for this purpose." (Luk 4:43)
for I was sent for this purpose." (Luk 4:43)
ONE KING
the RIGHTEOUS BRANCH
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David
a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. (Jer 23:5) |
And the LORD shall be king over
all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. (Zec 14:9) |
And David my servant shall be king
over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. (Eze 37:24) |
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. (Luk 1:32-33)
ONE PEOPLE
And I have other sheep that are not
of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. (John 10:16) |
...I am about to take the stick of Joseph
(that is in the hand of Ephraim)... And I will join with it the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, that they may be one in my hand. (Eze 37:19) |
There is neither Jew nor Greek,
there is neither slave nor free, there is no male or female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Gal 3:28) |
He [Caiaphus] did not say this of his own accord, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation,
and not for the nation only, but also to gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad. (Joh 11:51-52)
ONE LAW
Give attention to me, my people,
and give ear to me, my nation; for a law will go out from me, and I will set my justice for a light to the peoples. (Isa 51:4) |
and many peoples shall come, and say: "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and
that we may walk in his paths." For out of Zion shall go the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. (Isa 2:3) |
And they shall be my people,
and I will be their God: And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: (Jer 32:38-39) |
See, I have taught you statutes and rules, as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do them in the land that you are entering to take possession of it. Keep them and do them, for that will be your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say, 'Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.' For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as the LORD our God is to us, whenever we call upon him? And what great nation is there, that has statutes and rules so righteous as all this law that I set before you today? (Deu 4:5-8)
ONE KINGDOM
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom,
which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. (Dan 2:44) |
Of the increase of His government
and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and justice from henceforth, even forever... (Isa 9:7) |
And there was given him dominion,
and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. (Dan 7:14) |
And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. (Rev 12:10)
ESTABLISHED in JUDGMENT & JUSTICE
And in mercy shall the throne
be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness. (Isa 16:5) |
Justice and judgment
are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face. (Psa 89:14) |
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David
a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. (Jer 23:5) |
Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this. (Isa 9:7)
and in RIGHTEOUSNESS
My soul yearns for you in the night;
my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. (Isa 26:9) |
And what great nation is there,
that has statutes and rules so righteous as all this law that I set before you today? (Deu 4:8) |
Before the LORD: for he cometh,
for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth. (Psa 96:13) |
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth. (Psa 119:142)
with RIGHTEOUS JUDGES
Jesus said to them, "Truly, I say to you,
in the new world, when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. (Mat 19:28) |
And I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning: afterward you shall be called,
the city of righteousness, the faithful city. (Isa 1:26) |
In a dispute, they shall act as judges,
and they shall judge it according to my judgments. They shall keep my laws and my statutes in all my appointed feasts, and they shall keep my Sabbaths holy. (Eze 44:24) |
Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed.
Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God,
and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands.
They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. (Rev 20:4)
Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases?
Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters pertaining to this life! (1Co 6:2-3)
...you shall warn them about the statutes and the laws, and make them know the way in which they must walk and what they must do. Moreover, look for able men from all the people, men who fear God, who are trustworthy and hate a bribe,
and place such men over the people as chiefs of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties, and of tens.
And let them judge the people at all times. Every great matter they shall bring to you,
but any small matter they shall decide themselves... (Exo 18:20-22)

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him:
for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. (Rev 19:7-8)
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they
that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. (Rev 14:12)
But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever. (Dan 7:18)
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant:
thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. (Mat 25:21)
Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes.
Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them. (Luk 12:37)
Israel was holy to the LORD, the firstfruits of His harvest... (Jer 2:3)
Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth,
that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. (Jas 1:18)
Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ,
and they will reign with him for a thousand years. (Rev 20:6)
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation,
a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Once you were not a people, but now you are God's people;
once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. (1Pe 2:9-10)
Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine:
and you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation...(Exo 19:5-6)
So also Christ did not exalt himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by him who said to him, "You are my Son, today I have begotten you"; as he says also in another place, "You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek. (Heb 5:8-10)
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. (Joh 10:27)
If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him. (Joh 12:26)

The word of the LORD came to me: "Son of man, take a stick and write on it,

then take another stick and write on it,
'For Joseph (the stick of Ephraim) and all the house of Israel associated with him.'

and will gather them from all around, and bring them to their own land.
And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel.
And one king shall be king over them all, and they shall be no longer two nations,
and no longer divided into two kingdoms.
They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols and their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions.
But I will save them from all the backslidings in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them;

My servant David shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd.
They shall walk in my rules and be careful to obey my statutes.

They and their children and their children's children shall dwell there forever, and David my servant shall be their prince forever. I will make a covenant of peace with them. It shall be an everlasting covenant with them.
And I will set them in their land and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in their midst forevermore.
My dwelling place shall be with them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Then the nations will know that I am the LORD who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary is in their midst forevermore."
